Winners of the 2010 UCLH Poster Competition for research related to nursing and midwifery were announced at the CNMR Launch party in December. This competition was sponsored by City University, who also provided the panel of judges.

The winner, Emma Duke was awarded an education grant of £750. Emma presented work related to evaluating a screening tool for obstructive sleep apnoea in patients being assessed for bariatric surgery.

The three runners up, Susana Boluda (intensive care), Sally Fox (spinal research), and Robert Shortman (Cancer) each received education grants of £500. The awards were presented by special guests at the CNMR Launch Party on December 9th, 2010.
