New job post - Part-Time Research Nurse/Midwife

The research team in obstetric anaesthesia at UCLH are looking for a nurse/midwife to join them.

They are currently undertaking a large study involving women undergoing elective caesarean sections, and have been awarded national funding for this new and exciting post.

The post is funded as 0.5 WTE Band 5 salary, though this may be flexible depending on the successful applicant's current banding (eg 0.4 WTE at Band 6). Currently the post is funded until March 2013, but it is likely that this will be extended for another year.

The successful applicant will be:

  • Enthusiastic
  • Hard-working
  • Team-player
  • No previous research experience is necessary though an interest in the area is expected.

The post will involve liaising with patients, completion of study documents and data entry. All training will be provided, and completion of a half-day Good Clinical Practice course will be mandatory.
