Nurse and Allied Health Professional Research Fellowships for Staff Intending to Apply for Masters in Research, PhD and Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship Awards

University College London NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH) invites applications for clinical research fellowships from Nurses and Allied Health Professionals (NMAHP) at UCLH who are intending to apply for funded Masters in Research, PhD and Post-Doctoral Fellowship Awards.

The fellowships will provide part-time salary support (0.4WTE) and a consumable allowance for 6-12 months to provide the time to develop a competitive application for a masters in research, doctoral or post-doctoral research fellowship, for submission to the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Integrated Clinical Academic Programme for non-medical healthcare professions or equivalent charity or research council. The scheme will also provide you with research supervision, mentorship and peer support.

It is expected that successful candidates for 2017 will apply for nationally competitive research fellowships in 2018.

Nurses, Midwives and Allied Health Professionals interested in applying to the scheme should email a completed application form together with a covering letter, to Dr Rachel Taylor (rtaylor13@nhs.net) by 12.00 noon on 31st October. Approval from the applicant's line manager is essential. The interviews will be held in November 2017.
